I can't really claim credit for the cover. The cardboard is covered with handmade Nepalese Lokta paper with screenprinted gold touches upon which I stenciled the bird in acrylic.

That zig zag coptic binding is wild - I've never seen that before...I like it!
thanks Elissa! It takes a considerably longer time than regular single needle coptic but it really does have a nice result!
